About USAT
Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) is a test conducted via “Education Test Council (ETC)” by HEC to be
eligible for admission in universities across Pakistan. HEC announced that any student qualifying USAT will stand
eligible for admission in all universities of Pakistan & there’s no need to attempt universities own entry test for
admission. Hence, USAT is a single-entry test to be attempted & qualified to be eligible for admission in all
undergraduate programs across Pakistan.
Why USAT?
Universities across Pakistan need entry test scores to calculate merit for admission. Some universities take their own test & other don’t take their own test but they acquire tests taken by other universities who use to take test like ECAT by UET Lahore, ETEA, NAT by NTS, NET by NUST etc. In this way students need to take many tests if they want to apply for admission in many universities & universities depending upon other university’s tests (ECAT, NET, NAT, ETEA etc) have to wait for their results. Hence, HEC announced a national test with the name of “Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT)” to facilitate the students & universities across Pakistan.USAT Pattern
Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) is based on an international Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) pattern & covers all known disciplines of Engineering, Medicine, Management, IT & Social Sciences at undergraduate entry level.
